eXpedo software’s ability to multi-task can dramatically reduce the amount of staff time needed to create CDs and DVDs.

Only eXpedo offers DISCflow™ Profiles. Create as many profiles as you need, and eXpedo does the rest.

eXpedo’s versatile Media Templates enable users to automatically select all DISC configurations with one click of the mouse.  A Media Template defines the type of DISC (CD and/or DVD), the data format (DICOM or lossy JPEGTM), the number of copies, the DICOM viewer to be embedded (more than one can be embedded), the fully-customizable color label, and any user-entered text to be printed on the label.

Only eXpedo offers Query&Build™, a unique functionality that accelerates and simplifies the process of creating customized requests for DISCs.

A DICOM Viewer is embedded on every DICOM CD/DVD – creating a portable “PACS on a DISC” experience. Other DICOM viewers may be added as well.

eXpedo’s Web-enabled interface with user login allows instant, secure, and HIPAA-compliant access to eXpedo for DISC creation and job status monitoring.

eXpedo offers the greatest variety of automatic back-up options.

eXpedo’s 100% conformance to all industry standards means that any DISC that is made can be easily read by any industry conformant system.

eXpedo’s ability to make a patient reference CD (using compressed images in JPEG format) provides your imaging center with an impressive marketing tool and patient aid – at practically no cost.

Overview

eXpedo software is based on the concept of DISCflow™ Profiles, which define and automate the preferences for producing DICOM DISCs and patient reference CDs.

DISCflow Profiles add intelligence to the process of CD/DVD creation by automating "routine" requests, no matter how many versions of "routine" requests you may need.  For unique, one-of-a-kind requests, a "Query & Build" DISCflow Profile eliminates the waiting period for all selected images to arrive to the CD/DVD burner.

A DISCflow Profile deals directly with the question of what medical data needs to be recorded and what needs to be done to create the CD/DVD that contains the data.  It defines one or more sources of incoming data, the means by which the data is processed, and the characteristics and contents of the output media. It receives, retrieves, accumulates and assembles the data.

Create as many profiles as you need, and eXpedo does the rest!
